Education and Experience:
  • Must have experience working in a larger Agricultural corporation
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or equivalent knowledge
  • MBA preferred
  • 10+ years' experience in business operations and management; experience in business management, staff development, and P&L responsibility in a diverse business environment
  • Experience with agricultural production (especially dairy), demonstrated operational expertise, and a broad understanding of the agricultural industry is desired

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is representing a large agribusiness who is seeking an experienced Vice President.  VP will be responsible for overall operations, staffing, and strategic initiatives for the division. Manage national efforts related to how company provides products and services to its members.

Job Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Provide strategic leadership for all business units
  • Motivate and lead a high performance management team. Attract, recruit, and retain key members of the management team. Provide mentoring as a cornerstone to the management career development program
  • Establish strategic and collaborative relationships with company's network
  • Establish and meet goals and measurement of the growth in division's  net income and cash flow
  • Proactively foster and build channels of communication among the business units to enhance collaboration and achievement of strategic and operational objectives
  • Promote a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality and service to its members
  • Lead customer relationship management system implementation
  • Ensure the proper operating controls, financial reporting structures, administrative, and people systems are in place to effectively grow the division
  • Represent company at internal and external events and meetings
