- Proficient in various computer programs including; MS Office, Word, Excel, MAC based programs, Lotus Notes, PowerPoint and OmniGraffle

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a Blueberry Manager for this well-established south-central Washington producer. This Manager will be responsible for the management and coordination of all phases of blueberry production from planting to harvest, while maximizing premium yield in the most cost effective manner. Direct and coordinate all aspects of growing blueberries, including but not limited to; fertilizing, pruning, irrigation, spraying, ground maintenance, pest management and harvest. Ensure the management of all personnel actions including payroll, hiring, terminating, layoffs, scheduling, training, and providing the necessary equipment to fulfill job responsibilities is carried out in a timely manner. Budget and manage blueberry operation to ensure efficient/profitable operations and ongoing fiscal responsibilities. Establish goals and Key Performance Indicator's (KPI's) with direction from Senior Management that supports overall company vision. Identify equipment and process improvements, changes and/or replacements using proper budgetary process to accomplish necessary changes. Work with consultants to research and implement new agricultural/horticultural technologies. Implementation of growing and quality standards. Management and implementation of human and food safety policies and practices with all employees, including GlobalGap, while meeting all internal company and customers  quality standards. Maintain horticultural and technical knowledge by attending educational and growing tours.
