This Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT candidate is a hardworking, self-motivated, and trustworthy Ranch Hand with 25+ years of experience caring for cow/calf and feeder cattle operations. He inspects heifers, calves, yearlings, bulls, and horses for signs and symptoms of sickness and overall heard health. He recognizes illness in the herd and acts quickly to treat and prevent further illness. Assists with the birth of new livestock including pulling calves. He assists with shipping and receiving cattle and herds livestock using horses. Responsible for maintaining ranch records and documentation. He has cared for up to 700 cow/calf and 300 stocker/feeder cattle and 50 bulls. Maintains and operates heavy equipment, tractors, balers, manure spreaders, seed drills, rakes, plows, graders, mowers, etc. He has experience welding, fence building and repairing, keeping grounds clean and orderly by monitoring and repairing fences, mowing and weed eating, trimming trees, etc. He is willing to help where and when needed. He takes pride in doing his job to the best of his ability. Ranching and farming is a way of life for his family.
