This Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT candidate is the Division Manager of Seed Care for company located in the Pacific Northwest. He has worked at Ag related businesses for more than 40 years, beginning his career in his early teens. His experience includes wholesale and retail Agribusiness, irrigated and dryland crop production, seed production/sales, product development research, and most recently the Seed Care business. This experience gives him a well-rounded perspective on US agriculture. He attended Washington State University earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Crop Science and majoring in business and genetics. He has a strong 40-year history of annual business growth including guiding his division over the past 15 years to the largest market share (65-70%) and profits of any seed care business in the Pacific Northwest/Montana. He believes goal setting and achievement is vital, strong customer and team focus is crucial and simply selling products is meaningless unless there is value and profit for the business and the customer. He is looking to finish the last 10 years of his Ag career with a great team in a challenging position in Seed Care, Seed, and/or new Biotechnologies. Business management, sales, and service, through strong relationship building is his forte.
