Ranch Hospitality Manager
This Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT candidate is currently the Ranch Manager at a Hunting and Hospitality Ranch in Tennessee. He turned down a college football scholarship to serve his country for four years as a Marine before becoming a Journeyman Electrician for a larger company and then Maintenance Supervisor for construction company. His love for Ranching and Wildlife lead him to step away from all of that and has become the Caretaker/ Manager of a Ranch in northwest Florida, where he raised cattle and whitetail deer while transforming it into the showplace it is today. He then built and ran a self-sustainable Ranch in central Florida for almost five years before, but due to the owners passing, relocated to Missouri. As General Manager of a Ranch Club he continued his career and, with documented success, and is now proud to add Resort/ Hospitality to his Ranch Management Resume. After fulfilling his contract and resigning his position, He is currently on a Hunting and Hospitality Ranch in Tennessee. He grew up the cowboy way with a natural affinity and extensive experience working with horses, cattle, hay fields and dogs; eager to utilize broad skills to improve operations and profitably. Excellent communication and leadership abilities with a talent to direct cross-functional teams for top-class service. Operations and resource planning, electrical maintenance and install, veterinary work and doctoring, blue prints and construction, team leadership and training, haying, irrigation and winterization. Hospitality resort management, pest and pasture management, production and quality control, livestock management, fishpond management, budget management, health and safety, contract negotiations. He still finds the time to enjoy fishing and kayaking with his wife as well as riding his quarter horse and spending time with his dogs.
