This Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT candidate grew up working on his family’s farm and has continued in the agriculture industry. The family farm has around 6000 hogs and 50 head of cattle while farming around 650 acres crops. He learned mostly from working in the ag industry but was in soils in FFA for 3 years and went to Purdue for 3 semesters. He ended up leaving Purdue because he wanted to start working on farms and felt he could learn more from experience than in a classroom. He helps out on a cattle farm currently sized at around 150 head. He is a certified forklift driver along with knowing how to weld, wash seed boxes and bag/sew seed bags. He learns quickly, operates equipment efficiently and effectively, and communicates well. Looking for a progressive crop production operation with a future.
