He is able to give antibiotics via sub-Q, inter-muscular or intravenous administration. He has identified and treated woody tongue, lump jaw, cancer eye and foot rot and more. This candidate has worked with BLM and USFS in planning and preparing for seasonal turnouts. He has experience managing cattle on different allotments and judging feeds and water availability, planning and managing rotations of cattle to move smoothly into the next allotment pastures. He can track cattle movements using Excel spreadsheets. He has lined up trucks if needed for shipping cattle. He can plan and order needed vaccines, hormones or antibiotics when getting ready for branding season or whatever season it is. He can assign jobs appropriate for peoples’ skill set. He can direct multiple people on different tasks at different locations and lets his crew know well in advanced of their tasks for the day/days ahead so they can be prepared to what is going to be expected of them for the day. He has worked under other people, so he understands the need to be encouraging, fair and be willing to work alongside his crew members if they need help or working by himself to get other jobs done. This individual is a excellent candidate for many different ranches out there.
