- 2- or 4-year Agronomy, Animal Science or other Ag-Related degree preferred; Employer will also consider 2 or more years of Ag Sales experience
- Ag background with good knowledge and understanding of Livestock and Crop Production
- General knowledge of Livestock operation regulations a real PLUS
- Experience providing Agronomic recommendations to Ag growers
- Excellent Communication skills with ability to maintain and grow strong customer relationships
- Technology savvy
- Self-Directed and Performance-Driven

- Clean driving record with ability to travel up to 50%
- Currently residing in South Dakota near livestock operations with established producer contacts preferred

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting a Progressive, Diversified Ag Organization looking to bring on an Agronomy Advisor to cover the Eastern 1/3 of South Dakota. Primary responsibility will be to call on and consult with livestock operations, Ag growers and fertilizer customers to provide agronomic recommendations, nutrient management, and to advise on environmental compliance issues. General duties to include:

- Providing agronomic recommendations/Developing tailor-made soil nutrient management plans and solutions
- Assisting livestock clientele to stay on top of environmental compliance, providing annual reviews of their operating plans and permits as well as making recommendations for changes and/or improvements
- Developing strong business relationships with Ag customers as well as being active within local community representing yourself and your employer in the highest professional manner
- Collecting necessary information for other divisions of the organization and providing timely reports to upper management

This individual will work from a home-based office and will report directly to the President of company.
