KEY QUALIFICATIONS
:

- 2- or 4-year Ag-Related degree, Agronomy preferred; Employer will also consider 3 or more years of Agronomy Sales experience
- Ag background with good knowledge and understanding of Livestock and Crop Production
- Minimum 3 years providing Agronomic recommendations to area Ag growers
- General knowledge of regulations surrounding livestock operations VERY BENEFICIAL

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

- Excellent Communication skills
- Ability to Maintain and Grow Strong Customer Relationships
- Technology Savvy
- Self-Directed and Performance-Driven

- Clean Driving Record with Ability to Travel up to 50%
- Currently Residing in Southeastern South Dakota near Ag Grower / Livestock Operations with Established Producer Contacts preferred

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting a Progressive, High-Integrity Ag Organization looking to bring on an Agronomy Advisor to cover Southeastern South Dakota. Our client is known for their high integrity and for their ability to bring livestock owners and Ag growers together in a mutually beneficial partnership. This new employee will call on and consult with Ag grower/livestock operations and fertilizer customers to provide agronomic recommendations, nutrient management, and to advise on environmental compliance issues. General duties to include:

- Providing sound agronomic recommendations
- Developing tailor-made soil nutrient management plans and solutions
- Assisting livestock clientele to remain current with environmental compliance, providing annual reviews of their operating plans and permits as well as making recommendations for changes and/or improvements
- Developing strong business relationships with Ag customers as well as being active within local community representing yourself and your employer in the highest professional manner
- Collecting necessary information for other divisions of the organization and providing timely reports to upper management

This individual will work from a home-based office and will report directly to the President of company. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual currently working at a Cooperative who is looking to manage his / her own schedule.
