- BSc. Agronomy, Agriculture, Biology or other Ag-related degree
- CCA or ability to acquire while employed.
- Ag background working with corn, cotton, wheat and/or soybean production
- Crop-related internships beneficial
- Self-directed, self-motivated and performance-driven
- Solid communication skills including verbal, written and presentation
- Comfortable visiting with Ag growers

- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Basic skillset with Microsoft Office Suite products

- Willingness to reside in / work from / travel in a rural environment

Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a background check, substance abuse test and driving record background check

- Must be able to lift a minimum of 60 pounds
- Must have a willingness to relocate within southern U.S. after training is complete
- Must have a desire for long-term career advancement


SALES TRAINEE OPPORTUNITY...SOLID AG ORGANIZATION...CAREER ADVANCEMENT! Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is seeking an Agronomy Sales Trainee for one of their long-time client organizations. This Employer offers excellent trainee pay and benefits.

This Agronomy Sales Trainee role will provide you the opportunity and experience to move up into a full-time Sales role within your first 6-12 months. Your primary duties will be to work alongside a Production Manager and/or trainer to provide product and agronomic support and services to top Ag growers within central Oklahoma. Upon successful completion of the trainee development program and evaluation process, you will be eligible for a full-time role within the organization. Additional duties to include:

- Providing technical product information and benefits to area Ag growers
- Working closely with company research, company Product Managers, company coordinators and other company personnel as well as with seed dealers
- Putting into action practical agronomic research bringing value to our large farming customers
- Developing and managing relationships with area Crop Consultants, large Ag growers, retailers and seed-only dealers
- Making specific agronomic recommendations on variety of seed and selected fields
- Working with local seed dealers on placement of seed orders
- Ultimately, working to maximize services, information and sales to preferred Ag growers desiring extensive technical agronomic expertise
