20+ year Global Organization with an established Agri Input product in overseas markets. They have spent the last 2 years doing their due diligence with regard to U.S. Ag markets. Product performance has been very good. Employer advises their product has a strong value proposition for helping optimize water savings and improving grower productivity. Other product benefits have brought softer soils, bigger root zone, wilting extension, more efficient irrigation cycles resulting in less water usage and improved porosity as well as improved germination efficiency, nutrient uptake efficiency, reduced pests, increased organic matter and improved salt tolerance.


- MSc. or BSc. Ag-related degree preferred
- Minimum 10 years selling Crop Nutrition or Ag Chemical products in the California Ag market space
- Industry relationships that can aid distribution agreements, ability to implement farm trials, and work with key influencers including PCA's, Technical Agronomists as well as University and Extension personnel
- Experience working within the Compost or adjacent industry very beneficial
- Ability to build and lead a team of Salespeople
- Self-directed and Performance-driven
- Solid Communication skills
- Technology-driven and Computer proficient
- Ability to travel regularly to Agricultural areas of California
- Currently residing/working in Agricultural area of California or traveling in from a surrounding state.


Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is seeking a Business Sales Lead to call on industry relationships to introduce their biological product and to initiate farm trials, work with key influencers and/or consultants and to set up distribution agreements. This is a fundamentally new agri input that has proven abilities to optimize water savings for growers resulting in improved grower profitability. Ideal candidate will have Technical Agronomy Sales experience, minimum 10 years of experience working with diversified cropping systems in California, will have established Ag relationships with growers, packers, PCA's, other Agronomists, as well as University and Extension personnel. An individual having contacts in the Composting industry will be ahead of the curve in this role since the product works synergistically with compost. Preferred candidate will have ability to build a sales team over the next 4-6 years.
