- Bachelors Degree or Higher
- 1-2 years of Credit Management experience, preferably in an agricultural setting
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety, operational, maintenance manuals and financial statements.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and employees
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Must be able to calculate figures and amounts (such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages and volume).
- Must be able to apply the concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to calculate and understand the significant key financial ratios as relevant to ag (dairy) producers.
- Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where limited standards exist.
- Employee will be required to use hands, fingers, handle or feel, reach with arms, talk and hear.
- Employee will be required to sit, stand and walk and occastionally lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Employee must be capable of close vision and color vision.

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting an established Ag Employer in their search for a Credit Manager to oversee their southwestern U.S. business unit. The successful candidate will have a 4-year degree and at least one year in a credit management role.
Responsibilities will include:

- Day to Day Management of Accounts Receivable for the business unit.
- Maintain updated credit files
- Interface with Sales and Traders to optimize sales while maintaining credit standards
- Work with and through the sales team (as well as directly with customers) to collect delinquent accounts
- Manage all workout accounts engaging legal counsel as needed.
- Build and/or maintain positive relationships with local lenders and credit managers of competitors.
- Establish new credit accounts within the company guidelines for all new customers
- Build relationships with customers
- Maintain affiliations and membership with credit-management related organizations.
