  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • Mechanical skills (preferred but not required)
  • Ability to speak Dairy Spanish

Job Description:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is representing a large custom dairy heifer raising operation in Nebraska is seeking an optimistic, progressive minded person to help grow their operation to the next level of performance excellence. Responsibilities for this position include : Using Dairy Comp and Heifer Pro to record daily activities, monitor health, breeding, reproduction, vaccinations, process incoming/out-going heifers, and cattle movement. Monitoring and developing daily tasks to insure smooth operation of the yard. Working with veterinarian and brand inspector. Responsible for identifying all major capital repairs, routine repairs, and maintaining a preventative maintenance program. Confront and hold people accountable when necessary. Oversee recruiting, hiring, and development of new team members, in alignment with company policies for hiring, staffing discipline and terminations. Promote safe work habits and safe working environment. Oversee that the yard, buildings, and office are always clean and organized. Work independently, as well as being a team player. Use production records to facilitate improvements.
