- Associates Degree or higher in Agriculture, Agri-Business or related field
- 3+ years experience in equipment sales, product management; prefer dealer support or dealer-direct experience
- Poultry industry experience
- Intermediate competency with MS-Office suite of software packages
- Experience using CRM Software system
- Must be highly self-motivated, driven, competitive and entrepreneurial with a strong coachable work ethic.
- Highly organized, ability to multi-task, excellent time-management skills.
- Must be willing and comfortable making cold-calls on customers with a track record of doing so.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to develop partnerships and maintain strong relationships at all you encounter.
- A commitment to excellent customer service.
- Excellent problem-solving skills at the ability to handle moderate to high work volume.
- Must use discretion and confidentiality in the use of business information.

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting an established AG Employer in their search for an experienced poultry equipment sales and service representative to a growing dealer network in the Southeastern U.S. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated self-starter to establish a first-mover position in an expanding field.


- Pre- and post- sales relationship building to learn, anticipate, recommend solutions, and answer questions to satisfy industry needs
- Pricing negotiation and completion of purchase contracts
- Provide product and equipment technical and engineering information; assisting dealers to monitor the installation process to customer's satisfaction
- Establish new and thereafter maintain relationships with dealers; educating, training, and supporting them on all products
- Attend tradeshows, conferences, and seminars; networking to create business opportunities and increase company's brand awareness within the marketplace
- Accurately input contact information into CRM; maintaining information and acquiring computer skills necessary to be successful
- Regularly increase product knowledge by attending national meetings, conferences, and sales events
- Creation and completion of sales reports
