PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS
:
- National and International Ag industry knowledge and experience with a minimum of 15 years Ag industry experience in increasingly more responsible roles involving Agronomy, Commercial Sales, Commercial Product Leadership including Sales Force, Product/Brand Marketing, Channels, Business Development and Ag Growers
- 10 or more years of US Crop Protection experience with traditional row crops as well as specialty crops

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

- MSc. in Agronomy, Plant Science, Ag Economics or other Ag-Related discipline
- P&L Management with P
roven Ability to Bring New Products into the Domestic U.S. Marketplace and Manage Product Lines with High Sales Volume
- MUST BE Extremely Well Connected within the Domestic U.S. Ag Industry in terms of rolling out new product lines

- Proven Business Acumen with Crop Protection Products and methodologies
- Experience Working for Small Start-Up Organizations, preferably Green Technology Organizations, as well as Major Crop Protection Organizations strongly preferred

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting a Progressive Agricultural Organization looking to hire a Director General of Agriculture for their current management team. This Director General will strategically lead all aspects of the agricultural division for this organization to include operational planning/scheduling, business/market development and sales & marketing.

Primary focus for this individual will be to lead all areas of the Agriculture division with a strong emphasis on propelling the product pipeline forward, increasing commercialization while developing/executing a successful sales strategy. This role requires an individual with the ability to transform projected revenue goals into successful sales and go-to-market strategies, distancing these agricultural products from competitor products by driving Ag grower interest and, as a result, an outstanding revenue performance.

Working alongside Corporate Marketing, HR, Legal, Finance, Supply Chain and R&D divisions, this role have responsibility for quarterly performance reviews with Board of Directors. Additionally, this role will provide much-needed input to the Leadership Team resulting in the possible identification of new product offerings, growth opportunities as well as the ability to improve existing product offerings and execute strategic product planning to meet or surpass growth targets.
