Company is a medical cannabis cultivator and processor in Oklahoma. The company produces best-in-class medical cannabis products for licensed dispensaries throughout the state of Oklahoma.


Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a Cultivation Director who will effectively train and supervise staff to optimize the quality of the plant health and performance. This role requires a heavy emphasis to sanitation, compliance, standard operation procedures, and organization. Cannabis experience is not required for this position – we will train. Cultivation Director is responsible for all cultivation and post-harvest operations which include but is not limited to:

- Daily Staff Stand-Up and Closing Meetings
- Adherence and maintenance of all Policies

- Maintain fair and positive working environment
- Consistent and Accurate Inventory
- Maintenance of Cultivation Goals
- Monitoring & Optimization of B.M.S
- Harvesting, Drying, Curing, Trimming
- Monitoring & Managing Dry, Cure, and Trim Room Environmental Conditions
- Proper Inventory Hydration and Moisture Content
- Production Facility Monthly Schedule
- Oversight and Implementation of IPM
- Compliance
- Adherence to Cultivation Calendar
- Daily Update of Inventory Report
- Keep stock on Facility Supplies
- Utmost Sanitation and Cleanliness
- Staff Training, Evaluations, and Reviews
- Handle staff constructive feedback and discipline
- Posting, Interviewing, & Hiring all Cultivation Staff
- Consistent and Accurate Inventory
- Proper Bucketing, Burping, Curing, hydrating, and maintaining ideal moisture content at all stages
- All Data Tracking and SOP Logs
- Plant Health Care***
- Use of Cannabis tracking software & 100% Accuracy
- Safety Supervision
- Follow Genetic Grouping
- Tours
- Attendance of conference calls and meetings

*** Plant Health Care includes and is not limited to the following responsibilities – cloning, mother maintenance, potting, plant spacing, topping, pruning, trellising, fertilizer mixing, scouting, watering/irrigation, plant inventories, waste disposal, and lighting acclimation

Team & Position Goals

- Less than 2.5% failed testing results
- Maintain greater than 14% conversion rate of ‘Wet Weight’ into ‘Dry Flower’
- 50 Gram per Sq-Ft per harvest average yield
- 100% Compliance
- Zero safety violations per quarter
- Adherence to facility budget
- Less than 10% turnover at all positions per quarter

Qualifications and Education Requirements

- BS in Plant or Soil Science, Horticulture, or equivalent
- Valid State Worker permits
- 5+ years commercial agriculture experience
- Ability to operate standard office equipment
- Valid driver’s license and transportation
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Microsoft office Suite

Physical and Environmental Requirements

- Ability to lift, push, and pull 20 pounds
- Ability to sit, squat, bend, and kneel repetitively throughout a work day
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to use a ladder (up to 12 ft. extension) and general hardware tools needed for common repairs
- Ability and willingness to work in the following conditions:
- Exposure to pollen, allergens, and chemical pesticides in the grow facility or greenhouse
- General office environment
- Extended computer usage
- Extended phone usage including teleconferences
- Work environments that include exposure to, but not limited to, chemicals, fumes, dust, odors, extreme heat temperatures, heights, indoor AC, no AC, motion, noise, protective gear, vibrations, and water
