- BS Agronomy or other Plant/Soil-Based degree required; MS preferred
- CCA certification beneficial but not required
- Technical Agronomy Sales or Agronomy Sales Support experience with Central Valley region Ag Growers
- Established business relationships with Central Valley region organic and conventional fruit and vegetable growers, fertilizer manufacturers, fertilizer blenders, fertilizer distributors and area PCA's
- Strong ability to build and maintain Ag business relationships
- Solid leadership skills with ability to train/mentor other sales personnel
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Technology-Savvy
- Ability to Travel the Central Valley region of CA

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is seeking a Director, Organic/Commercial Sales to sell a proven, mineral-based fertilizer to Organic and Conventional Growers in the Central Valley Region of California. The ideal individual will be a technical Agronomist with a solid sales leadership abilities.

Our client is a progressive company set for explosive growth. They are committed to helping organic and conventional Ag growers get their best return on investment by boosting the nutritional quantity and quality of their crops while also giving back to the soil.

Initially, this Director will have sole responsibility for establishing product sales in the Central Valley Region of California. Eventually, this Director will be tasked with building a team of technical sales Agronomists to cover other areas of the U.S.

Our client is seeking an individual who is "motivated to make their mark" on the world. This is a Ground Floor Opportunity with a solid organization. This Director will have a say in strategic planning/forecasting of business.

***Base Salary to $100,000 plus commissions that could put a successful salesperson at $200,000 or higher.
