QUALIFICATIONS:

- Good experience operating a self-propelled sprayer
- Experience with GPS is a big plus
- Handle routine maintenance and general repairs
- Prefer good crop production experience
- Need to be flexible with hours worked, because of weather conditions and have good attitude
- Hard working and able to grow in their responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a good Sprayer Applicator/Farm Assistant, who also has a crop production background and willing and able to farm when not spraying. This position is located in northwest Kansas with a progressive operator. Main focus is spraying (March through October) and the rest of the year person will assist in all crop production operations. The majority of sprayed acres will be within a 50-mile radius. Really prefer experience running a self-propelled sprayer. Good opportunity to advance. Have good math skills and able to calculate chemical rates and read chemical labels. Person needs to be conscientious and very aware of surrounding during application. Need to be a self-starter and able to work a flexible schedule during spray season, need to be dependable and someone who takes pride in their work. Need good experience with routine maintenance and general repair and a CDL is a must. Good employer with good opportunity to grow with a progressive farm producer. Need to be able to work in a team environment. When person isn’t spraying, they'll be farming, so need to be willing to assist in all areas of the operation.
