- Able to operate their late model equipment
- Person needs to have routine maintenance and general repair skills
- Prefer some knowledge of irrigation
- Prefer plant to harvest experience
- Plus if person has good welding skills
- Person needs to be willing/able to get a CDL with good driving record
- Electrical experience is a big plus for working on center pivots, but not required
- Livestock skills, AI skills, and willingness to assist with the cows would be a plus


Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a Farm Assistant for a northwest Kansas employer. The operation has both irrigated and dryland corn, wheat, milo, and has 100 Purebred Angus cows. Looking for a person who has good routine maintenance and general repair skills. They do as much maintenance and general repair work in their own shop before taking equipment to town. Prefer person to have some knowledge of irrigation. Need to know farm practices from plant to harvest. Plus if person has welding background. Person needs to be willing/able to get a CDL as they have added a lot of on-farm storage and deliver grain throughout the winter to fill contracts as needed. Electrical experience is a big plus for working on center pivots, but not required. Great location for schools and even a spouse to find work if needed. Housing is negotiable, but affordable if one wants to buy their own.
