Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a working Farm Manager / Estate Manager with a strong background and desire to work with horses on a historical plantation farm in northern Virginia. Person needs have more of a farm manager than an equine manager attitude with more Yellowstone personality then Kentucky Derby mind set. This is a hands-on Working Manager of the farm, livestock, and property. Looking for the right person or couple, preferably from the Eastern States area that has managed a similar farm in the past. Candidate or couple needs to take pride in their work and will be expected to develop a high level of responsibility in the overall management of the farm and property. For the right person, we will consider all areas of the US if you have the desire and willingness to be located in the Virginia Appalachian's.
Looking for a person that not only has good integrity, but also experience, a strong and diverse skill set, stability in your career path, and solid work/professional references. Owner is somewhat private and wants to keep things that way, so definitely not looking for a chatty person that has to share the latest at the morning coffee shop. Several options are available for spouse, either on the farm in several positions pending skills, or also available in the area if interested in also seeking employment. Great location for family in a peaceful setting away from the hustle and bustle of large metro areas.
