QUALIFICATIONS:

- Wants someone with good character, self-starter, reliable and detail oriented
- Prefer good maintenance skills
- Mechanical skills a plus
- Experience in all phases of crop production, from plant through harvest is a plus
- Experience operating a sprayer
- Knowledge of Precision Farming practices
- Agronomy background and good understanding of corn, wheat, and milo

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a good Farm Foreman or “Right-Hand-Man” Kind of person for this west-central Kansas dry-land crop producer. Owner is looking for a long-term employee who has a passion for farming and wants to grow in responsibility with the farm. Person needs solid crop production skills, be familiar with precision equipment and JD sprayers. Must have CDL or Class A license with experience driving truck. Primary equipment operations are spraying, seeding and trucking. This is a very clean and organized operation that requires the same from employees. Require person who has recent crop/farm experience, and they need to be able to communicate well. Nice if person has good handyman/mechanic skills. Employer is flexible in off season and can be flexible with family schedules. Salary will be determined on experience and skill set.
