QUALIFICATIONS:

- Need experience with Pivot operations and maintenance
- Experience using flood irrigation over native range
- Have Haying background with Native Grass and Alfalfa
- Honest, hardworking, dependable
- Good communication skills
- Able to take direction
- Strong mechanical background would be a great asset
- Prefer good general cow ranch background

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a Farm/Hay Foreman for an operation in southeastern Oregon. This person will report directly to the Ranch Manager and this person will be the Manager's right-hand man on the farm operations side. Manager will outline the daily plan and the Foreman will execute the plan. This Foreman will oversee one or two full-time employees, so they need to be good working with people. The Farm/Hay Foreman will also be responsible for ordering parts and keeping an inventory of parts and supplies on hand. Honesty is most important. This person will help assist in all areas of the ranch, but the main focus will be parts, inventories, forage production, equipment operations and maintenance, overseeing another full-time employee and outlining their day and be able to monitor on their own progress. Salary is dependent on Experience. Good roads and close to village for supplies. Other shopping within an hours drive.
