QUALIFICATIONS:
- College degree in Agriculture is a plus, but also consider experience in agronomy, marketing, precision, or other areas of strength in production agriculture
- Need 3+ years of farm management experience along with 5 years of good row crop experience would be preferred
- Would consider a career farm kid that recently graduated with a 4 year ag degree, and wants to pursue a lifelong passion of row crop working with agronomy, marketing, precision, and management
- CDL and good driving record preferred or must be willing to obtain
- Routine maintenance and general repairs is a must, while welding/fabrication would be a plus
- Dependable, self-motivated, team player, with strong communication skills and positive attitude required
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for more than just a Farm Manager, but a reliable working manger for a progressive farm in Minnesota. Would like a candidate that is skilled with a degree in agronomy, precision, and/or marketing. More expertise one can bring to the table the better. Need someone who is a team player and hard working for the long-term. Main focus of this position is operating John Deere equipment. The farm has new model equipment including X9 combine, 3 high speed planters and excellent facilities including shop for routine maintenance and will have over a million bushel of grain storage once phase 2 of their new grain facility is complete in 2024. Prefer a candidate who has a good maintenance background. Need someone who takes pride in what they do. The farm offers a great working environment with long-term opportunities and strong benefits package. Wages are determined by experience. Great opportunity for family, great schools, and/or spouse to find work in the immediate area.
