QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prefer experienced hands-on maintenance mechanic
- Required to know maintenance and general repairs
- Diagnosing and repairing diesel and gas engines would be a plus
- Ag equipment, heavy equipment and small engine background
- Experience ordering parts and maintaining inventory of parts and supplies
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a Farm Mechanic for this southeastern Michigan producer. Need experienced, dedicated tractor maintenance mechanic who has experience in diesel and gas engine repair and preventative maintenance. Someone experienced with small engine, Ag equipment and heavy equipment preferred. Brakes, transmission, hydraulics, welding and fabrication experience required. Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all the farm equipment. Responsible for ordering parts and maintaining inventory of parts. Must be able to plan how things will come through the shop in the off-season. This position will also provide an opportunity to help farm with equipment operation when not in shop. Any experience in crop production is a big plus. E.O.E. and salary will be based on experience, stability and references.
