QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experienced hands-on mechanic
- Routine maintenance and general repairs
- Experience diagnosing and repairing diesel, gas engines, transmissions, etc. is a plus
- John Deere mechanic or other proven mechanic preferred
- Ag equipment, heavy equipment and truck background a plus
- Doesn't need to lead, but a good assistant would be a plus
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for an experienced Farm Mechanic for an Idaho employer. Large farming operation with 7-8 employees, and low turnover would like to add another good employee. Above average, well-equipped shop for maintenance and repair as they do all their own mechanic work during slow times on the farm. Even if one isn't a lead mechanic, but willing to learn, advance, and assist, we would like to talk with you. If you're also a strong equipment operator, adjusting, tuning, and running equipment at top efficiency, safely, and even possible having the ability to lead a small crew, we also would be interested in visiting with you. A good employee with a positive attitude, solid experience & stability, simply, we are interested. Great location, in a smaller agriculture community with options of good schools, churches for the family. Nice 3-bedroom house on the edge of town and close to the shop is available. Variety of opportunities for spouse in the community.
