QUALIFICATIONS:
- MUST be a team player with a good attitude
- Need to be a self-starter
- Planting through harvest experience a big plus
- Prefer a Class A CDL
- Welding, mechanical ability, pivot irrigation needed
- Late model farm equipment
- Be willing and able to work with cows/calves
- Assist with doctoring, feeding, calving, etc.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a good Farm/Ranch Assistant for this Montana producer. Looking for a highly motivated, honest, reliable and diversified individual with farming abilities. Duties will include tractor, haying equipment and self-propelled machinery operation for the harrowing, fertilizing, planting, cultivating and harvesting of crops. Also should be able to repair and maintain farm vehicles and implements. Would also be able to observe and listen to machine operation to detect malfunctions. Prefer experience in irrigation activities or willing to learn. Some welding and truck driving experience is preferred. Must be able to work independently and with others, being able to communicate and convey important job information.
This position will have a significant amount of responsibility in a diversified Ranch and Farming operation. Duties include:
- The operation, maintenance and repair of equipment
- Must be able to receive direction, possess sound judgment and have a solid work ethic. Need to be honest and a self-starter
