QUALIFICATION:

- Plant to harvest experience of corn and soybeans

- Strong communication skills, working both independently and also as a team
- Spray operator experience with tractor mounted sprayer would be a plus
- Minimum 3 years experience operating and working on farm equipment
- Require person to be mechanically inclined
- Responsible for the maintenance, field ready, and upkeep on all of the farm and irrigation equipment
- Cow/Calf / Feedlot necessary Spring Calving
- CDL Required w/ clean driving record

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting this northeastern Nebraska employer in looking for a Farm Assistant with minimum of 3 years experience in plant to harvest setting. Working on farm equipment is required for field readiness, repair, and general maintenance, so higher then average mechanical skills are a plus. Will be responsible for all the maintenance and upkeep on the irrigation equipment. Most work will be field operations, irrigation, shop related and depending on skills and interest, could involve helping with cattle when needed. Salary will be determined with proven experience.Familiarity with CNH 24-row equipment, planters, combines, pivot irrigation, is all a plus and will be considered when determining pay.
