- Experience with feedlot equipment is a plus, a farm or mechanical background is a must
- Good equipment operator with routine maintenance and general repairs experience and in practice
- Strong communication skills working as a team player with a desire to help in all areas of the feedlot
- Willingness to take on new challenges, big or small with the ability to accept change
- Need to be dependable and willing to advance in terms of responsibility and reliability
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record


Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a good Feedlot Assistant for this expanding southeastern Nebraska Feedlot. A person that is diverse and can jump in where needed. Fill in as a Feed truck driver when needed, and experience driving other heavy equipment is very helpful. Prefer experience driving modern tractors and articulating wheel loaders. Need a person to have good maintenance skills. Responsibilities include feeding, maintaining equipment around the feed yard. One that can assist in processing and other duties, etc as needed. This employer is willing to work around a good employee's strengths with abilities to work in several different areas. The operation is in a great location for a family as well as a spouse to find work locally or in a nearby metro area. Options for multiple school districts in a nearby area on where you may want to settle.
