QUALIFICATIONS:

- Strong diesel and gas mechanical background is a plus
- Able to do all day-to-day maintenance and repairs
- Experience with small engines, Ag equipment and heavy equipment
- Welding and fabrication experience required
- Experience ordering and maintaining inventory of parts
- Willing to operate equipment and willing to fill in when needed outside of the shop

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for an experienced Farm Mechanic for this eastern Nebraska producer. Farm mechanic will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repairs. The farm has good facilities and a shop. Need a dedicated mechanic experienced in engine repair, bearings, and gearboxes. Need someone experienced with small engines, Ag equipment, and heavy equipment. Brakes, transmissions, hydraulics, welding and fabrication experience are required. The mechanic will be responsible for ordering parts and maintaining an inventory of parts and must be able to plan how the equipment will come through the shop in keeping up with priority repairs. Searching for a candidate familiar with reading service manuals, parts manuals and just good all around mechanical ability.
