- B.S. Accounting required or M.S. Accounting
- Ag Background preferred; Cattle/Feedlot experience highly preferred
- Experience working with: A/P and A/R
- Daily journal entries
- QuickBooks and Excel spreadsheets
- Turnkey Accounting Systems software knowledge is a plus or willingness to learn
- Solid organization and time management skills
- Detail-Focused
- Strong customer relationship skills
- Self-Directed with ability to work well in an established team environment


Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting a Long-Established Livestock Employer located in Panhandle of Texas is seeking an experienced Feedlot Comptroller. Person may do everything from bookkeeping all the way up to the highest level of financial work. Person will invoice customers; process payroll; manage cash flow; reconcile bank statements; and oversee risk management details, etc. Primary duties to include:
- Basic accounting functions using QuickBooks, Excel and Turnkey Accounting Systems software
- Daily posting of balancing journal entries
- Clearing and sending out cattle sale checks
- Creating closeouts and customer returns calculated
- Reconciliation of monthly bank statement
- Month-end closeout
- Other general bookkeeping functions as required

This is a 4 - 5 person office. This individual will have extensive contact with customers, suppliers and vendors. Employer offers a family-oriented work culture.
