- Must have 10+ years of orchard or specialty fruit background
- Must have 3+ years of supervisory/management experience
- Work with a team approach while assisting Ranch Owners in development of annual operating strategies and goals
- Provide ongoing operational status reporting (production results quality measurements, issues and resolutions, etc.)
- Strong communication and record keeping skills while being detail and task oriented
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus while working with Ranch Labor to ensure positive labor relations and an adequate and cost effective and adequate labor force

- Required to inspect and ensure that all food safety protocols are being followed in compliance with FFC Food Safety Program GAP
- Train production personnel in the proper documentation and timely submittal of all required reports
- Monitor any irrigation/fertilization/technology trials and ensure the accurate documentation of yield results
- Work directly with Owners in the planning, selection and requisitioning of all materials purchases via the company purchase order process
- Ensure that all employees are appropriately trained to execute work duties in a safe and efficient manner
- Adhere to the Company Safety Management System and Injury and Illness Prevention Program
- Ensure all Good Agriculture Practices and Best Management Practices are met


Hansen Agri-Placement is in search of and individual to assume the management role of 39 acres of a lime and kumquat trees. The Ranch also has passion fruit vines that are all in production. You will be working with both national and international clients. Company is a perennial leader in its niche markets and is recognized in the wholesale space as a high-quality provider of specialty fruit. Company is a vertically integrated grower, packer and shipper. Will work as a team in collaboration with pest advisor, owners, and contracted seasonal workers to carry out and oversee pest control, fertilizer applications, and harvest. Solid, long term operations manager is in place. Need to have strong educational, recordkeeping and communications skills to work with the owners, workers as well as the customers in a timely manner. Great sunny location in Southern California and wages will be determined from experience, stability, and references.
