- Bachelors Degree or Higher in Agriculture-Related Field
- Must have 2+ years experience Merchandising or Trading Grain

- Must be a highly motivated self-starter with excellent communications skills
- Must be a problem-solver with high attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
- A strong ability to analyze and interpret technical procedures
- A strong commitment to continuous learning
- The ability to remain focused and professional in a fast-paced work environment.

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting an established Ag Employer with their search for a Grain Merchandiser. The Grain Merchandiser will be expected to manage the company's business as it pertains to grain trading and will be prepared to assist in all aspects of sales and merchandising. Other responsibilities include:


- Manage activities of company's commodities group to maximize market share, market penetration and profitability by developing objectives for sustainability and growth
- Manage position and logistics to maximize revenue
- Work with other managers to effect economic impact
- Manage operations, sales, and transportation costs
- Work closely with internal groups on pricing, market evaluations and opportunities
- Have a clear understanding of NGFA Grain Trade Rules
- Monitor competitive marketing strategies to develop effective programs to ensure a competitive advantage
