QUALIFICATIONS:

- 1+ years of knowledge & finish production experience and settings
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Swine Nutrition understanding
- Ability to travel designated territory
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Swine production certifications "PQA"
- Animal Science or related degree preferred or multiple years of experience

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is looking for a multi-site Grower/Finisher Supervisor for this Ohio swine farm. You will need to visit each of the finish farms and area producers to help increase production efficiency, advise on animal husbandry, and help recommend and promote animal health production while working with and what is recommended by the Herd Veterinarian. Will need strong communication as well as listening skills while consulting with producers and managers on animal husbandry. You will also recommend and promote animal health products as recommended by the Herd Veterinarian while traveling the designated area. You will also educate producers on new production practices. Travel will mostly be done daily and reports can be completed from home office and sent to headquarters. Overnight travel will be minimal. Location is flexible to live in Central part of Ohio in your territory and still be part of your territory. Salary will be determined by experience, stability, and references.
