Driver’s license; good driving record
Reliable and self-motivated team player
Knowledge and experience maintaining and repairing equipment
Willingness to work flexible hours during harvest season
Feeding / Nutrition knowledge
Basic Herd Health
Crop Experience
Ability to operate and maintain dairy and farm equipment.


Job Description:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is representing a small dairy located in Wisconsin who is searching for Herdsman who enjoys doing a variety of jobs during the week. This position offers a variety of options for the right candidate. This position is with a robotic dairy that strives to stay advanced with technology. In addition to the dairy, there is a custom chopping business for hay and corn silage. The equipment line up includes a triple mower, continuous merger, silage trucks, and FR500 self propelled chopper. Most of their customers have bunkers, but their do have a self-propelled bagger when needed. Besides field work, the position involves scraping out barns with a skid loader, hauling manure, bedding barns with sand, and moving animals when switching barns. During the harvest off-season, will maintain and repair equipment for the dairy operation and for local farmers. Additional hours are available working with the dairy cows, if the chosen candidate is interested.
