QUALIFICATIONS:
MUST HAVE CURRENT DAIRY EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION
-Experience working on dairy
-Self Starter
-Must have strong herd health skills
-Basic computer experience (dairy uses PC Dart and Lely)
-Mechanical background a plus
-Ability to drive a tractor and skid steer
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a Herdsman for a small dairy operation located in Illinois. Will consider experience working on any size dairy. Responsibilities will include herd health, working with dairy's robotic milkers, feeding, making hay in the summertime, haul manure, driving tractor and skid steer. Mechanical background would be helpful.
