Job Description:
Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is representing a mid-size dairy located in Michigan who is searching for an experienced Herdsman to oversee an Assistant Herdsman, milkers and calf raisers. Will also work along side feeder. Successful candidate for this position must have AI breeding and strong herd health experience. Will also assist with calving and be responsible for maternity and fresh cows. Employer looking for someone who is motivated, organized and able to assist with training employees when needed. Will work with Veterinarian and Nutritionist. There are no milking for feeding responsibilities with this position. Dairy uses PC Dart and Heat Time Pro. Opportunity to buy-in available for individual who is able to demonstrate solid work ethic and ability to manage all aspects of a dairy operation.
