JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a well-qualified Horse Ranch Foreman for this small Colorado Ranch. Responsibilities include the care and exercising of horses, managing a small staff and general ranch work, including fence repair, mowing, irrigating, putting up 160 acres of hay, weed control, and general mechanical repairs as well as property upkeep. Desired skills and attributes include: Strong overall horse skills along with carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical skills consistent with property maintenance; familiarity with, and ability to operate, farm machinery; animal health skills; ability to communicate well with owner and/or General manager; attention to detail, high standards in work quality. Other responsibilities include: Grounds maintenance, including general pickup & cleaning, corral, barn, shed, house, and as well as other structure maintenance and repair. Need to have a good attitude, honest and dependable. Great location that is quiet, but yet close enough to the city to take in a Rockies or Bronco game if one desires. Salary will be determined with experience, skills set, stability, and references.
