Qualifications:

- High School Diploma, GED or related experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Class A CDL with required endorsements preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Working knowledge of business computer skills (Microsoft Office, accounting, database, and internet software).
- Works well independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations.
- Ability to speak before groups of customers or employees.
- Strong business acumen abilities: time management, planning, organization, and decision-making skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Job Description:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting an established Ag Business seeking an experienced Location Manager in Nebraska. The Location Manager will support companies Vision, Mission, and Core Values. Manages grain and agronomy production and distribution operations for the location in a manner that will optimize companies market share and savings, improve efficiency, resulting in exceptional customer service. Ensures compliance with companies policies, regulations, procedures, and practices including all local, state, and federal laws.

Responsibilities:

- Provide a positive attitude, image, and safe culture to customers and peers through exceptional and courteous customer service.
- Follow the safety guidelines and programs established by company and complete safety reports and required records.
- Promote and support companies Grain, Agronomy, Feed, and Energy programs at the location.
- Responsible for compliance and employee training at the location regarding governmental regulations and safety.
- Maintain all records required by OSHA or companies safety procedures as well as training of staff and recording of documentation utilizing the designated software platform.
- Responsible for budgeting fixed asset requests and operational expenses for the location.
- Master working knowledge of companies internal computer systems that affect day to day operations.
- Monitor inventory quality/condition and complete weekly inventory reports.
- Provide customers cash grain bids and explain basic grain contracts as well as enter grain offers in designated software.
- Ability to explain company policies and site operations to customers and employees as needed.
- Recommend repairs and improvements to the Area Manager/Vice President of Operations.
- Responsible for personnel training, maintaining that records are current, and tasks are performed properly and safely.
- Proactively reach out to customers and develop positive customer relationships.
- Adhere to the credit guidelines of the company.
- Assist in planning, developing, and implementing companies policies and goals.
- Develop and maintain an atmosphere of teamwork among location and company staff.
- Responsible for leading daily housekeeping and maintaining a safe clean environment for employees and customers.
- Inform the Area Manager/Vice President of Operations of operational, customer, vendor, or employee issues that may arise.
