Qualifications:

- 4 Year B.S. Degree in Poultry or Animal Sciences and 4 years or greater of industry experience; or 10 years of experience in the poultry industry without a college degree.
- Bilingual a plus
- Good verbal & written communication skills

- Organized, goal oriented and accountable
- Good leadership skills, strong interpersonal skills while being goal observant and team oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products
- Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
- Ability to work greater than 40 hours per week.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, run, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work in various climate conditions

Job Description:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting an Ag Business in search for a Location Manager. The Location manager will oversight of operations supporting the commercial hatchery and supporting contract farms.

Responsibilities:

- Oversight of all personnel involved in the operations, to include, a breeder manager, all hatchery personnel: (management, maintenance, hatchery production and hatching egg and day-old chick transportation team members.
- Management of hatching egg production, egg flows and order processing for all day-old chick customers supported by the location.
- Overall financial management of the facility, ensuring that the operation is efficient and profitable.
- Participate in weekly Production & Sales meetings to ensure correct planning and product distribution on a customer-by-customer basis.
- Communication with day old chick customers regarding orders, deliveries, and services.
- Quality control and assurances on all products produced.
- Ensure all safety programs for both the hatchery and transportation teams (to include FMCSA regulations) are followed.
- Ensure compliance with all NPIP, biosecurity, transportation, government, and other regulations governing our property and business.
