- PhD in Agricultural Life Sciences or other Agronomy-related field; MSc will also be considered.
- Scientific background with a minimum of 10 years industry-related business/technical development experience.

- CCA or CPAg certification desired; PCA beneficial; experience working on relevant scientific products also suitable.
- Broad expertise developing crop protection products as well as t
raditional chemistry and biological pesticides development experience.
- Good knowledge of the pesticides and bio stimulants market space within this area of California.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to converse comfortably with a team of international technical and sales professionals.
- Self-directed, goal-oriented and with attention to detail focus.
- Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, ARM.
- General knowledge of federal and local regulatory compliance regulations.
- Spanish language skills desired.
- Currently residing/working within the Central Valley Region of California.

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is seeking an experienced Product Development Manager - Pesticides for an established Agricultural product organization. This role will be located in the Central Valley region of California.

The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to evaluate and bring to market existing and new pesticides as well as bio stimulant products in partnership with existing and potential customers in the region. Client has strong preference for an individual with a PhD in Agricultural Life Sciences and a minimum 10 years' experience marketing agronomic products, preferably in this area of the U.S. While CCA or CPAg certification is desired, working experience on relevant scientific subjects would also be suitable. Spanish language skills are desirable for this role.

Primary responsibilities to include:
- Understanding/analyzing current crop protection market space in the region
- Defining product testing positioning and field trial programs
- Reporting results of trials and product evaluations via Excel, PowerPoint and other easy to read formats
- Providing technical support, sales force training, technical customer support and center of influence relationships
- Investigating product performance issues and/or customer complaints
- Identifying and leading growth initiatives for product with existing and prospective customers
- Participating in marketing promotion activities
- Supporting existing business in coordination with local sales force
