QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelors Degree + 10 years of experience or combination of. Masters degree would be a plus.
- Must have a good understanding of testing environments and impact on product evaluation
- General understanding of field, road and lab equipment
- General understanding of field cultural practices
- Ability to obtain a CDL and hold a current pesticide license
- Team oriented, innovative, trusted, results oriented
- Ability to manage field research
- Ability to effectively manage and motivate staff and teams
- Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced work environment
- Possess a work ethic that strives for excellence in productivity, accuracy, and timeliness

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a Product Management Technician for a midwest seed company. This candidate will be responsible for parent seed management duties of; assuring standards and timelines are met for packaging, planting, and harvesting of nurseries including continuous and off-season, multiplication and purification of inbred lines, maintaining high-quality nurseries and site selection, managing inventories and assuring adequate quantities of seed for an increase of inbred lines. This person will support and participate in operating budgets and identify and support capital needs. This Product Technician will be involved in personnel management, recruiting and managing seasonal staff. This position requires a person who will maintain a team environment, promote health, safety, and good stewardship. This person will coordinate the Contra Season activities for Product Manager of Products by managing logistics and packaging and shipping, assigning and scheduling staff members trips as needed to support activities. Position is an hourly wage, and will be approximately 150 hours of OT during a given year. Wages will be determined with experience, education, skills set, references and stability will all be considered. Great location in terms of raising a family, schools, and work for a spouse if so chooses to do so.
