- Livestock handling experience and cattle background
- Experience operating loader tractors and 4-wheelers
- Experience operating Mowers, Bale Processors

- Will be working with some of the beef industries best cows
- Must work well with other employees and customers
- Routine maintenance and general repairs

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for Ranch Assistant to work hand and hand with the Cow Manager in caring for some of the industry's best cows. Be able to follow specific recipes for feed and vaccination schedules. Duties include monitoring cattle on a daily basis for health, looking out for the livestock’s well-being, mixing specific feed rations and keeping track of vaccination schedules. Candidates will need to know how to operate loader tractors, bale processors, skid steers, mowers, 4-wheelers, etc. Must be willing and able to assist with maintenance of fences and facilities and on vehicles and tractors.
Must be personable and be able to work with others and treat all clients and their cows with the utmost respect. Need person who lets their actions speak louder than their words. Typically, they manage about 150-170 donor cows annually for the purpose of collecting embryos for various clients, either to freeze for later implanting into recipient cows or for direct fresh implanting into recipient cows. Currently there are two employees, the manager and a donor cow manager. Flushing embryos from donor cows every 2 weeks throughout the year.
