- Prefer 5+ years in a lead position
- Solid ranch background with recent, hands-on experience in commercial cow/calf operation
- Good animal husbandry experience, including calving, doctoring (spot/diagnose/treat), keeping track of herds, and pasture, feeding
- Desire to work cattle from ATV, but having some experience working cattle from horseback a plus
- Welding a plus and general upkeep around the ranch from buildings to corrals and mountain fencing
- Assist in routine maintenance and general repair along with record keeping to make sure it gets done in a timely manner
- Have pride in their work, have a good attitude, honest and dependable


Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a Ranch Foreman for this southeastern Washington Cow/Calf Producer. General ranch work, including; livestock work (Health, Calving, Feeding, Doctoring, etc.), fence repair and construction, weed control, and general mechanical repairs. Desired skills and attributes include: skills consistent with property maintenance; familiarity with, and ability to operate tractors, animal health skills, ability to communicate well crew and Owner; attention to detail, and high standards in work quality. Other responsibilities include: grounds maintenance, including general upkeep, corral, barn, shed, and other structure maintenance and repair general maintenance and care of overall ranch. Need to have pride in their work, have a good attitude, honest and dependable. Need person who can work throughout the ranch when needed.

- Health: Vaccination Protocols, Doctoring/Diagnosing
- Commercial Herd: Maintain Cattle Records, culling etc., Maintain full accounting for each class of cattle
- Improvements: Maintain corrals, sheds, fences, Maintain trucks, equipment, Build/implement new improvements
- Cattle Movement: Move/keep cattle where they are supposed to be
- Help draft and manage annual operating budget, Stay within budget
- Labor Management: Lead/direct (non-office) employees, Manage part-time, seasonal & day help, Manage with a TEAM approach, creating a positive environment, meet with management to review progress on goals
- Innovate: Be progressive minded with a willingness to adopt improved methods of beef production
