JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a qualified Ranch Operations Assistant to work for a southeastern Montana producer. For the right person, with experience and skill set, one could step in to a Lead position. The ranch runs cow/calf and some yearlings pending grass/weather. Job duties will include assisting with putting up hay and working with flood irrigation. This is a diversified operation that is searching for an individual or couple. Willing to jump in as needed at all levels of work to be done while providing good opportunities in the future to expand and grow both as an individual as well as the ranch itself. The ideal candidate would be an experienced non-smoking couple that has the interest to make this their home and work the ranch as if it is their own. The ranch is well organized and keeps a job board in the shop that is kept updated for what needs to be done today, and what is on the agenda moving forward. Excellent, high quality, newer 3-4 bedroom housing available as the ranch has no trailers or modular on the ranch. Good location even though it is a bit remote, family friendly, kid-friendly, and a great opportunity! K-6 school is close to the ranch on an improved gravel road. The 7th-12th grade is an additional 20 miles on a paved, low traffic state highway. Salary will depend on your experience, stability, and references.
