QUALIFICATIONS:

- 10+ years cow/calf experience w/ 3+ years of ranch management experience
- Animal health and cattle doctoring skills required. Working with longhorns a plus
- Experience with haying and putting up large bales for winter feed of cattle and horses
- Solid routine maintenance and general repair skills necessary
- Ability of ranch upkeep, including 3 houses, buildings, fences, and all areas of the ranch
- Strong communications skills, record keeping, and overall dependability in working with absentee owner
- Lawn care, Pool & Hot tub maintenance experience is a plus


JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-Placement is searching for a working Ranch Manager with a strong cow background for a ranch in North Central Texas. This is a hands-on position as working manager of the ranch, livestock, and property. Looking for the right person, preferably from the area that has managed a cow/calf enterprise in the past. Candidate needs to take pride in their work and will be expected to develop a high level of responsibility in the overall management of the ranch and property. Looking for a person that not only has good integrity, but also experience, strong skill set, stability, and references. Position for maid service and other duties could also be available for a spouse if interested to make it a couple position are negotiable.
