QUALIFICATIONS
:

- 4-year degree in Agronomy, AgriBusiness or other Ag-related degree; Masters degree a REAL PLUS
- Certified Crop Advisor preferred
- MUST HAVE a minimum 4 years managing an Agronomy Sales Team of Technical Sales Agronomists in a large commercial territory environment with ability to push / drive a business strategy
- Strong commercial Ag experience, preferably with micronutrients, specialty fertilizers or other value-added fertilizers
- Good understanding/knowledge of value-added fertilizer market and products
- Proven supervisory/management experience
- Solid business acumen including forecasting and risk analysis skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong negotiation skill set
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Strong digital technology experience including solid experience with social media programs
- Clean driving record with ability to travel to 75%
- Candidate must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent U.S. resident


JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting an Established Agricultural Organization looking to hire an experienced Regional Sales Manager for their Value-Added Fertilizer Division. Ideal individuals will have strong technical knowledge of value-added fertilizer products as well as solid knowledge of South Central U.S. crops with ability to develop and lead a team of Technical Sales Agronomists.

This individual will manage a South Central U.S. region covering Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi and Louisiana. Primary responsibility will be to oversee a team of Senior-Level Technical Sales Agronomists and Product Specialists calling on Ag retailers and Ag growers to sell their product line and improve market share. This RSM will work to maintain and grow B2B customer relationships and will be responsible for defining the sales plan for the region as well as relaying market intelligence needed for the development and implementation of go-to-market business strategies. Ideal location for this RSM will be near a major travel hub area such as Dallas/Fort Worth, Oklahoma City, Little Rock or Shreveport. Employer will assist with relocation as necessary.
