JOB QUALIFICATIONS
:

- BSc. Ag-related degree; MSc. preferred
- Certified Crop Advisor license or strong Horticulture/Ornamental experience
- Minimum 2 years Crop Nutrition sales experience
- Extensive specialty crop nutrition knowledge base
- Strong understanding of crop nutrition principles and effective fertilizer strategies
- Performance-Driven Personality
- Excellent Communication and Time Management skill set
- Highly-developed Negotiation skills
- Self-Directed and Customer Service-Focused
- Technology proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Clean driving record with ability to travel up to 50% with some overnight travel

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting a Long-Established Specialty Fertilizer Organization seeking a Regional Sales Manager to cover the state of Florida selling Plant Nutrition products to primarily fertilizer manufacturers and distributors as well as end-users. This is a home-based opportunity. Ideal candidate will have a Masters degree in Agronomy, Horticulture or other Ag-Related program and will have at least two years experience covering a territory using technical sales expertise to sell to existing customers as well as developing new customers. Some additional duties to include:
- Keeping others in the organization updated as to relevant customer information, current market trends, potential opportunities and other information.
- Regularly interacting with top-level management of manufacturers and distributors
- Managing comprehensive marketing campaigns to create additional demand for products
- Functioning as a Technical Agronomist to help develop solutions to growers needs
- Forecasting/Developing an annual budget
- Utilizing timely sales opportunities to improve incremental sales
- Helping to manage research trials
