lobal organization with a Sales Support Team covering North America. They are a leading supplier of specialty nutrients, controlled release fertilizers, and potassium nitrate. This is a Key Role for the employer and will report directly to the President of the North American division. This is a Home-Based role with a preference this Manager reside in South Carolina, Florida or Georgia. Relocation Assistance is Negotiable.


- BSc. Ag- or Horticulture-related degree (Masters preferred)
- Certified Crop Advisor certification
- Minimum 3 years of Crop Nutrition Sales experience and good working knowledge of Controlled-Release Fertilizers and Specialty Crop Nutrition
- Performance-driven / Relationship Builder mindset / Organized with solid Time Management skills / Detail-Oriented
- Excellent Communication and Computer Technology skill set
- Valid Driver License with ability to travel U.S. and Canada to 65%

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting an established Crop Nutrition Manufacturer in sourcing and hiring a Sales & Marketing Manager to focus on their specialty fertilizer business, primarily with nurseries and specialty crop producers. This individual will travel the U.S. and parts of Canada selling/marketing a specialized, controlled-release product to existing and new customers as well as working directly with Regional Sales Managers, Retailer/Distributors and their Sales Representatives, as well as with Growers, and University/Extension personnel to provide technical sales support.

The Ideal Candidate will have:
- A Masters in an Agriculture or Horticulture-related degree program
- 3 or more years of Technical Agronomy Sales or Sales Support experience
- Proven experience working with controlled-release fertilizers

Key Responsibilities will be to:
- Direct and support all sales and marketing activities in the Ag, T&O and Nursery market segments
- Maintain and develop strong working relationships with key client base including fertilizer distributors and key end-user Ag growers
- Work closely with customers to optimize current sales and marketing opportunities and to generate new opportunities
- Partner with other divisions and personnel of company to ensure an adequate supply of manufactured product to meet the needs of their customers in a timely fashion
- Be responsible for relaying current market trends and customer information to senior management personnel
