Job Description

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is representing a leading independent producer of high-performance specialty films / plastics used for ground cover in vegetable operations, is looking for an experienced Sales Representative to represent their company and product. The employer is looking to hire an energetic and experienced hunter to join the sales team to help execute on their sales strategy within targeted segments for their product line. The role will be calling on strategic growers and distribution partners, with a focus on major growers, so knowledge of this category is critical for success. The ideal candidate will thrive in a competitive environment where they are given the sales tools, capacity, and support to succeed. To that end, the sales team has dedicated R&D, Field Service and Marketing resources to support their commercial efforts in the field. The right person for this position finds ways to “win” as a newcomer in a competitive market and can demonstrate a track record of success in identifying targets, uncovering needs, building relationships, closing opportunities, and delivering long-term value to customers. The ideal candidate can form relationships with decision makers at the growers, coordinate trials and follow-up to close new accounts. A value-added sales approach is important to sell the full value the product line has to offer. Ability to drive growth with this product line, which will enable the company to offer a world-class product specifically tailored for sustainability, high-performance and cost savings to the grower. These new capabilities, coupled with the current portfolio, mean there is no shortage in the breadth of products that can be offered to these customers.
