Qualifications:

- Must possess an Associate’s Degree in related field or 2 years of sales experience.
- Prefer sales experience in related fields including tarp systems, etc.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, etc.
- Proven ability to achieve sales goals.
- Willingness and ability to travel 50-70% of the time with overnight stays.
- Must have an insurable driving record and reliable transportation.

Job Description:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting an established Ag Employer with their search for a Sales Representative. Sales Representative will facilitate and manage sales, develop distribution channels and attend trade shows.

Responsibilities:

- Facilitate and Manage Sales
- Develop Distribution Channels – Dealer & Retail
- Develop database of customers through referrals, phone conversations, direct face-to-face cold calling on customers, direct mail, and email
- Attend Trade Shows and other events to market companies products
- Travel the territory and make sales calls to customers
- Assist in answering and addressing incoming calls & walk-in customers pertaining to sales
- Prepare sales quotes for customers
- Analyze territory sales data, including registration data, and take action as it pertains to market share
- Complete understanding of pricing and product line
- Research and communicate new markets and new product opportunities within assigned territory
- Maximizes all opportunities in the process of closing a sale resulting in the taking of market share from our competitors.
- Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities.
- Develop understanding of the overall market.
- Performs additional duties as assigned by management or required by the position.
